allright well im goin ice fishin this weekend and durin the day im gonna set up sum tips ups and possibly jig. but i guess the ice has pulled away about 2 feet from shore but its still like 5in thick. i was plannin on fishin in the shallows just incase i do go through, but at night i was wonderin if it would be possible to fish that open water along shore and see if i could sum bites on reg tackle. u guys think this would work or should i just stick with ice fishin?
