oh my gosh......went ta work today and was called a celeb.. when i got into the break room ta put my lunch in fridge. there sat open--on the front page, in todays local paper--was a pic of me reeling in one of my many gills that i caught on tuesday. the paper is the star beacon here in ohio.

I opened up yesterdays paper and started laughing. That`s Mr. Bill!!!!! LOL. Must have been that monster fish on the end of your line.  Purdy cool.

that i will. been doing ok this yr.. i have gotten 7 steelies this yr. so far. i even got some perch last nite at the state park. i might try and go again wed. evenning-- next chance ta go. i've given ya a call a couple of times, but nobody seems ta be at home when i have called.

man i miss them days........when dad and his brothers would go ta canada ever may-- last full week-- and when me and my brothers were old enough ta go we went too.
now with my brothers and me have moved away with our own family's and my uncles passing away....it has gotten harder and harder for us to be able to get together like that, even thou we still do. but it's like once every 4 or 5 years instead of every year.

we spent most of our time 50 miles east of chapleau and the lake we fished the most was carney lake. i remember taking about 18 ta 20 hrs driving. resting throu the nite and portaging down a river throu a couple lakes all day. then fishing fer 3 days and then repeat getting out. it was alot of fun going over beaver dams and such. it was always worth the work because of the great fishing.
hey kinger, when ya going ta have time ta fish.

Wayne dat be called "DA LIFE OF HOWIE"Mr_bill the scenario looks goes like this; 1st thing is getting up and do our manly things, next is getting some coffee down us along with a breakfast snack to hold us over, then we venture out on da mitey blue water in search of our prey and when dat is over, usually around 10am, we come in for breakfast and crack open a pint or two or three, then we do any chores or maintainence that needs to be done or just sit around or sometimes head back out for more fishing, then around 4pm we do our supper along with a couple 2 or 3 more pints and then after supper we head back out in quest of elusive prey and finally we come back in around dark and we then proceed to sit around, hopefully have a fire(weather and bugs permitting), and bring out da good stuff and most importantly throw the bull. Now that is what our days consist of mainly.  ___
