I live near the Colorado River in Arizona and all my ice fishing is "The other way". The only way I get to see "hard water" is to go north in the winter and this desert rat can't take too much snow. |

Jim i could use some of that stump joose rite now, so i can settle down my neck and back from all this un-packing. I had me some good ice cold Molson Canadian beer a couple of times and that seemed to help somewhat, but i need more of the hard stuff though. : ) |

Hmmmm....sure sounds like we better commence to brewing sum Stump Joose right smartly. Bullwinkle and dah boys ought to be barnstorming dah bush soon so we will be pitching camp in a week or two to hunt 'em down. When not hunting, we'll be tending dah brew! LOL! |

Mr bill he needs it for to keep his ole bones warm. lol Well i believe it be getting cooler and colder for all of ya up north for the lakes to become hard. Especially up in Thunder Bay and Alaska, but down here in the South i have to do it "Da Other Way". That's ok, cause i took stock into Coke & Jim Beam. LOL Hope everyone is doing ok? |

I have been using some Evan Williams bourbon with a touch of honey. Warms up the bones real good. |

Well it's started. I hear reports of people ice fishing here in NY. I guess you won't have to do it the other way. |

I've been gone from the site for a bit...but we were out icing don't yah know. First trip out was Dec. 5th where we had 6" of ice. It's been very mild here this winter, but the weather was cold enough at night to make ice. We have over 12" now, but lots of slush because of the extremely mild weather. The walleye and perch bite has been good and just waiting now for the lake trout season to open. Good luck with everyone else that can get out...even though that excludes our good friend Kinger. HAHAHA! |
