IT'S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I'VE BEEN OUT, BUT I DID MANAGE TO GET OUT YESTERDAY AND THE "TIE" CAME FOR THE RIDE.  AS SOON AS I GET THE PICS RESIZED I WILL POST THEM. LIFE IS LIKE A STRINGER OF EATER WALLEYES. |

man if this weather keeps up i'll have to ice fish the other way only. lost alot of ice in the last 3 days with all the rain and 60plus degree weather. it just ain't fair i tell ya, it ain't fair. |

MR BILL I KNOW WHAT YA MEAN. WE WERE OUT LAST NITE FROM 3pm TO 10:30pm FOR CRAPPIE. WE WOULD OF STAYED LONGER, BUT THE SKIES OPENED UP ON US AND WE WENT HOME SOAKED.WE DID MANAGE TO CATCH 13 KEEPER CRAPPIE. BIGGEST BEING 13" AND THE REST ABOUT 10". SOME GOOD EATING THERE I TELL YA. THERE WAS 12" OF ICE.

well, last nite i went out for a bit....got enough gills to stinkl up the frying pan and i couldn't keep the dang bass off the tip-ups that were set for pike. after cleaning the gills i sat back and did the ice thing thee other way until bed time. |

i need to get out on the ice as much as i can before it goes out for
the year....the way the weather has been i'd say about 2 weeks of safe
ice left--as lonf as we don't get any more rain that is--so it's
fishing the other way for now.

WELL SHIVER ME TIMBERS. HOWDY WAYNE. BEEN A LONG TIME MY NORTHERN FRIEND. HOW'S THINGS GOING,WITH THE ICE FISHING, THE YOUNG WACKERS AND JUST EVERYTHING IN GENERAL? IT'S BEEN A SLOW YEAR DOWN HERE. I'M HEADING TO THE COTTAGE ON MAY 13th AND IFN YOU HAPPEN TO BE CLOSE TO THE AREA, HOW BOUT STOPPIN IN FOR A FEW PINTS & SOME BS'N.
HEY MR BILL YA AT LEAST PUT SOME IN THE FRY PAN & PUT SOME OF DA OTHER WAY IN DA BELLIE. I'LL BE DOIN' IT DA OTHER WAY TODAY AT A BANQUET AND JUST MAYBE TRYING TO GET OUT THIS COMING WEEK FOR SOME MORE ICIN'. SO FAR ARE ICE IS HOLDING UP PRETTY GOOD. MOST PLACES ARE OVER 12" OF SOLID ICE.

well the ice is all gone and the only ice i see floating around here is in the glass of ice tea, since i drink very little of the harder stuff. but there are days i wish i did. i been slowly putting the ice fishing gear away and getting out the open water gear. |
