Looking for some productive Ice Fishing areas in the Pennsylvania area. I live outside Phillyso I know I will have to drive just dont know of any places to drive to. Can anyone give me some help here as far as where to go ice fishing

Howdy Fcr--Welcome to the B/B and forum!! I can't help ya on the PA fishin as I'm in Colorado! Ido know that if ya scroll down to the PA thread that you'll have better luck. They have some of the best fishermen in the club there and they can give ya a lot of tips. saying Hi to a local boy. I live just outsode of phillie also. Been fishing since i was a small kid. as far as where to go local. It depends what type fish your looking for. Crappies,# 1 would be Marsh creeck although Hopewell, Blue Marsh and Green lane are very good spots. Scotts run lake is good for trout. It usually gets stocked 2 times during the winter. Hopewell has pike bass and crappies sometimes it has very good days. Marsh creek has very good muskie fishen along with pan fish crappies, perch and some big bass.
