those land lock salmon, most of the time are very agressave fish so you should have to fish at nite...but they will bite, just not as hard/fast. my experience with land locks' is in the winter can get them any where at any time on any thing for bait, at least almost any type of bait.

if you can use trebble hooks and minnows on them for bait....you can try a small trebble with a perch minnow on each of the hooks. this work really well for me when we had land lock atlantics in my lake.

i would set this rig in deep water under a tip-up and about 6-10ft. down under the ice. if it's open water yer fishing. i would use something that would flash like a minnow. like small spoons, spinners and even stick baits...such as rapala's.

the water is about 40' i'll try that thanks for the tip my fishing buddy likes to fish about a foot under the ice and has some luck with that

night fishin for salmon was more productive 9lbs 6lbs flag up.
