channel lake in antioch il. has some great bluegill and crappie fishing. i fished the n.a.i.f.c. tournament feb. 22  found big fish in the southend of the lake in about 3-5 ft. of water. plastics and maggots on a fiska did the trick.  jim

naifc=north american icefishing curcuit...not related to the nafc...they hold 7 tournaments a year with the top 10 from each moving on to the national championships...been to ny.wi.nd.il.mi.iowa ..i forget all of them...best finish 5th in wi. finished 15th at nationals that year(06) made nationals this past year but got my %#$ handed to me... alot of fun.,great people ,open tournaments..$200.00 per team (2 man) 150 person field. check out the web-site naifc.com...last tournament is this weekend at bomoseen lake vt....big perch and gills..been told the brown trout are hitting....i will keep everyone posted on where im fishing and how the fishing is...icemanjim
