Hello fellow club members, im posting looking for a Gas powered Jiffy Ice Auger 6"-8" (Used) in the area of $200 max $250 for this upcoming season 2010. If you live in Mass and are located around Central Ma. that would be great. If you live elsewhere thats fine too im taking all inquries, Can talk about shipping cost if nessecary or pick up if local. If you dont have one and have a good website that sells used ones that would be great, or know of a place that sells used augers. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. Can E-mail me at Mcavene824@yahoo.com to send info and pics, or reply here to this post.

    Thank You!

If you do find a decent Jiffy in this price range....you got yourself a deal. Used are hard to come by because if they work, why sell it....unless of course you are quitting ice fishing altogether. I just sold my 10 yr. old 3hp Jiffy for $350 to buy a 2hp. I want a 2hp because its lighter and easier to carry around drilling holes. The 3hp was great when Da Young Bushwackers were doing the drilling but now all they want to do is sled around the lake while I do all the work .  I hope you find what you're looking for.

I just checked a store in Duluth, MN where you can buy Jiffy augers. The store is called Marine General and a brand new 2hp Jiffy can be bought for as low as $299. You may want to consider spending an extra $100 and having your own new one instead of used. I will be buying the Jiffy 2hp Legend Lightning XT 8" model when we go to the Snowcross at Spirit Mountain this year .

Here's the link to Marine General     www.marinegeneral.com

    Hops this helps!
