i just wanted to share with you guys about a new way to fish the surf and jetties (dont try piers 'cause fishermen intentionally hook you).
i live in so cal, and have caught many fish out of my tube and i will be taking my pontoon boat out in january. some of the fish include halibut (to 23#) leopard shark, sand bass,calico bass, flounder,rays (to 60#),sculpin,and of course mackerel.

you can buy tubes and pontoons at cabelas, spoetmart, basspro and other outdoor retailers.

if any of you have already tried this, or do in the near future, please share your stories.
