My father, my uncle and I are coming to Wabasso Fl. June 18th for a fishing trip. We will be staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort and are planning on spending some time surf fishing which we have done in the past and enjoy it very much. We would like to also take an offshore trip and maybe a freshwater trip on or around the Indian River. What I would like to know is what would be the best thing to fish for and what baits should be the best for that time of year for all three? In the past, for surf fishing, we generally use live shrimp and cut squid trying for Pompano. Is that ok for that time of year? Also, can you suggest a good outfitter for the offshore trip maybe from the Sebastian Inlet area? Any freshwater recommendations would be great too! Thanks all!
