We had Mike,Gary and Paul out for a 1/2 day trip yesterday out of Pt. Jefferson,NY. We did a 1/2 day trip for Fluke. we had to move around a bit but we found the fish they tallied over 60 Fluke with 6 keepers from 18-20" they dropped a nice 22" fish at the boat. We were using bucktails tipped with spearing on light tackle in 20-30' of h2o. We then had a blast with over 40 blues on light tackle jigs. They only kept a few for the BBQ. The bait in the area is thinning out so nows the time to get in on the action before the fish disperse looking for the bait.
P.S. We have openings during the week and next sunday if anyone is interested in joining us.
Tight lines!
