Hey all! I am heading to FL to visit some relatives the 2nd week of December and will be in the Hudson area. I am an avid freshwater fisherman and a novice salt angler. I was wondering if anyone knew whether there were any species available for a shorebound or wading angler that time of year. Any info is greatly appreciated. Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to ya!!!

ya heres another late reply but december is usually a bit nippy to be wading but if your a northener you can probably hack it and yes there is good fishing all around the coast of hudson, again even a novice can make some big catches from waist deep water just usual variables apply time of day, bait, moon phases, december can be a productive month for the serious angler you just have to be willing to sacrifice a little comfort and get some mangrove scrapes while wading to get the virgin spots that are awesome try renting a kayak to inshore fish theyre a awseome alternative to wading and shore fishing and vastly improve your chances by greatly expanding your fishing grounds
