well i was fishing a texas rigged senko as a jerkbait in the weeds yesterday. very commmon method. BUT i got bored and started fishing it super fast and erratic. then i was fishing it so fast that it went to the surface and started to actually walk the dog! i was giving it fast kinda hard jerks upward and it would walk the dog on the surface. i dont know if anyone here knows about this tactic or uses it. but i think that would look more like a dying minnow than a big ole fat zara spook. o by the way...i didnt catch anything doing that....but i hardly caught anything that whole day so dont blame the lack of fish on the method. i think on a day when the topwater bite is very good, ill try that again and see what happens.
