I have a question for the lure makers/painters out there. What type of Glow paint do you find to last the longest and is easy to use? I just read an article in an In-Fisherman magazine and they mention that there are several different paints that have differences in intensity and longevity, but do not say which brands fit the description. Some lasting/glowing only 8-12 minutes and others up to 45 minutes. I have both Spike-it (non-glow) and Component (glow pink) as mentioned in the article. I like the Spike-it; it goes on nicely and looks great. The Component paint however is very thick and difficult to apply. Both are the dipping variety. I have not yet tried the powder type. They talk about thinner being added if it starts to dry out, but both bottles that I have are brand new and both are too thick. I don’t want to spend $24.00 like the article stated for the 45-minute stuff, but I would like to get a good 10-15 minutes from a charge.
Thanks in advance for your input.
