Thanks alot Dennis, I keep saying I,m not going to collect anymore Bombers and just buy Heddon lures but there so high right now and even antique stores are very aware of the prices so I always go back to the Bombers. You could spend 10 years trying to collect all the colors and sizes of these.

For thoes who don,t know, the best way to tell the differance between plastic and wood bombers is that wood ones have a screw holding on the bill and plastics do not have a screw.Thats the easiest way other than wood ones most of the time have age cracks in the paint and plastic won,t.There becomming very popular to collect.

I go to alot of estate sales where I buy tackle boxes full of lures so there's always lures in them that have condition problems. The ones I buy off of e-bay I can see the condition of them and there the ones usually I don,t fish.There's a great program called " 321 Collect" that you can install the manufacture, model, color and anything you want and post pictures of the item you collect and keep your collection very organized.
