I have been making in-line spinners.  What are some of the things used for weights?
Large bluegill never leave me, from day to night to sleep. My ultralight gear puts up quite a fight. So when I catch a big 'gill, I think a fish of might. And put him in my hand to view the sight.

I use the brass lure bodies from Stamina.  You can get the weight you want and make lures like mepps.  Here is the link:  http://www.staminainc.com/

    Hope this helps.

Thats a great site Gary. I get a lot of spoon blanks from there. They have a ton of stuff for folks putting lures together.

Thanks, ICB.  I have found it to have about anything I need.  I have made several in-line spinners.  There is just something about catching a fish on a lure you made yourself.

Welcome Gary. I buy my casting spoon blanks, split rings and hooks there. When bought in bulk you can put some nice spoons together for around a dollar a piece. You can`t beat that today.

I totally agree about catching a fish on something you make yourself!  I am currently sharpening my skills for tying trebles and hope to make inline spinners in the near future...Some day I hope to be able to tye & make custom spinners.  Dream on!! lol
