My favorite spinner for streams is the Mepps Aglia.  I just caught this Monster yesterday 4/19/09  with it.   It weighed 10.9 pounds and probably wood of been bigger if it didnt lose so much blood.

Nice Fish!! I always seem to have a problem getting mepps aglia's blade to spin, unless I retrieve them very quick.

BA: try giving the rod a quick snap after the slack is out of the line. It seems that once you get the blade spinning it keeps going. Mepps insists that the blade does not need to spin for the lure to work. Huh? Tom
