That looks incredibly like an old Heddon that my great uncle gave me years ago. Unfortunatly, I lost it to a good sized bass not too long afterwards! Tom

It's my Dale Earnhardt commemorative lure!!!LOL The paint I used is left over from a model car I painted a few years ago It's official RCR gloss black & silver.I probably shouldn't mention that, Nascar my want there cut of the profits if I ever sell It!!I'd paint one with dupont paint but I would have trouble keeping it from wrecking in the rocks!!!I"ll post pics of the others soon.

Sounds like you could have The Official Lures Of NASCAR.

All kidding aside, looks goods. You'll have to post a pic. of the first one you catch with it.

I'd like to dress the hooks on the end,But I've tried tying them and I just can't to seem to get it right.I've seen dressed hooks at BPS.I might just buy a few and add them later.

Hey,It`s very easy,Put a small dab of gorilla glue up by the eye of the hook, attach string/feathers ect...tie thread then rap around about a quarter inch, let dry about a hour, optional,,then slide shrink tube over and heat.Done!!!
                    hopefully helpful

Nice pics, Sam!  Looks to be nice work also!  Those look like fish catchers to me!  Lets see.....white marabou with a hint of red in the center for the white with red head.  Perhaps some green marabou with a hint of yellow marabou for the other...Hmm

Well I caught a few small Largemouths (1-2lbers) with my redhead but then the bite just kinda stopped, It was exciting anyway catchin them on my own lures.I was suprised that there swimming action was almost exactly like my Rebel pop-r.

Congratulations on your catch!  That must be a really proud feeling, catching bass on a homemade lure.  I'm really impressed.  Way to go!
