I posted a comment in the misc thread and now I feel like I may have alienated this kid. Basspro123 is not a bad kid! He is not a scam artist, and he is not trying to screw anyone.

My popper is on the way. PJ is just young, and he doesn't fully grasp the business aspect of selling a product. I told him everything is cool, just communicate with your costomers. Once I recieve the lure I will tell you if it is quality or not. Don't be afraid to buy from him. Ask for a time frame, and he should do great on his next sale.

WTG Fred---I'm glad to hear that it is working out. It is always worth a second chance! I hope the young man is successful with his endeavor. I know that I was on his case pretty heavy. If I was wrong; then I will be the first to apologize and say that I'm sorry! I wish you the best of luck! Post some pix of your skill. It would help future prospects in buying. Also, to be an entrepreneur, you must be ready to ship the merchandise and set a time frame for delivery with the buyer to be successful!! Take care, God Bless and great fishing. Bill J.aka fishnhunt

Good Deal Fred, I too got on his case a bit. I sent him a PM a week or so back. He was worried we were P.O. at him. I was kind and let him know that as long as he keeps his end of a deal folks will not bad mouth him. We all remember what it was like to be 14. I used to sell bike parts and bubble gum. Anything to make a buck.  I hope the popper works out for you.

Thanks everybody for understanding. The reason i changed my Member Name is because I am becoming a Life member and they club had me make a new name, it had nothing to do with any thing else. P.S. I AM POURING SKEWLS GREEN GRUBS TODAY, I WILL HOPEFULLY HAVE THEM OUT TO HIM BY NEXT TUESDAY. A Bassbum, Thank you for supporting me. I hope you like your popper, if not I will try to makeup for it. Please let me know if there are any more problems, I want to get everything straightened out so I don't give other kids my age a bad reputation. I promise to have all orders out withing a week, But if that is not possible I will let you know ASAP. I hope you guys understand and aren't still mad at me. Thanks, P.J.

I will no longer sell on this forum if you want me too. I don't want other people to be angry with me if I can help it.....

It would be nice if everyone restricted their sales efforts to the member classified sections. I don't have a problem with a member selling homemade tackle on the site but don't think a full-blown buisiness should get free advertising here. Good luck to you Basspro, and remember to inform your customers when you have a problem delivering! Tom

Thanks for the idea, I will no longer post any where else, but the member classifieds when selling things.

    Here it is!

    100_0459.jpg picture by jfhall

It looks like a fish catcher to me. I think it is set on a 1/0 hook, but I could be wrong. The picture is hard to make out, but the body looks like a fat catapiller. The quarter is to give a size reference. Can't wait to try it out.

Nice lure PJ. I would take Toms advice next time you sell, but post pictures also. Try posting your catalog, and see if that helps produce sales. I'm glad we got everything resolved. I hope you sell enough to get that boat.
