Hey Ya'll,

I'm planning a purchase of a set of rods & reels for the boat to fish deep and big.

So far I have made these selections and this is why I'm asking for advise.

Penn 330 GTI on a Penn Slammer 6'6" 1pc.
25-50lbs. rod.

Penn Jigmaster 500, or Penn 209 on a
Master Blackfin by Penn 6'6" 1pc.
25-80 lbs. rod

Now, what I want to know is this, Are these rods and reels matched, or even close, are they good choices for what I'm going to be doing with them. If not then what is suggested ? I don't want to have mismatched stuff and not be able to catch with it. And I'm new to the deep water fishing.
Any knowledgable advise would be appreciated.
