    I recently found a very nice working Penn Senator 9/0 reel on a short 4-5 ft solid glass rod with roller tip at a sale. I bought it, but have no idea what these reels sell for. First time I had ever owned one.

    I would guess by looking at the condition and frame, that this reel was made sometime in the late 1960's to 1970's to early 1980's. Reel works fine, and has a thick cord like line //[ 150-300 lb. test] on it.

    What do these Penn Senator 9/0 reels sell for.?

    I had it at the flea market last weekend trying to get info about it. One guy told me he used to live along the East Coast and had bought one before New, and it the reel, cost him just over $600.00 and with the rod he bought with it, he had over $700.00 in that one outfit.

    I know PENN INTERNATIONAL Reels were expensive, but didn't know that the Senator series cost that much.

    Any help is appreciated. Wink<!--graemlin:;)-->
