    Im getting into BFT fishing in Gloucester, Ma.  Anyone out there fish this area for Blue Fin?  I'll be up that way in Sept.  Hdriver

    im from virginia but im familiar wiht tactics for tuna up there. becaus etuna up there will often times school up ou can use butterfly jigs or chunk for them using local bait resources. trolling wise cedar plug by itself or severla daisy chained work good. some people use big spreader bars wiht squid of varying colors. if you can try kite fishing wiht live bait in a chum pattern, use the kite to suspend the live bait just under the surface, and use other baits to chum the water to get them riled up. visit a local tackle shop and theyll tell you more

    if theyre boiling on top you could also try some beefed up topwater plugs on decent spinning outfits, use braid
