If you are at Pendleton, Helgren's Sportfishing (Oceanside) has a bunch of "open" charters pending. The Tuna are starting to show with the San Diego boats bringing in some nice numbers. The Dorado should be showing in August, unless the water temps start rising earlier. I love fishing Dana Point , Ca. In the summer time its all about the Tuna fishing out at Catalina Island and San Clemente Island , but during off season I like to just go right down there to the harbor and throw out some squid and rip some BatRays . My biggest one so far is about 140 pounds on 30lb test. I know that there's bigger ones out there because I've been spooled like 4 or 5 times . I tried to post a photo of it but it won't let me for some reason . If anybody has any helpful info then please let me know so that I can build my album . Thanks , "FatFlat"
