this spring my dad is gonna 1st do a minnow test 2 see if we need 2 change the water(he put chlorine in it during the fall) and if the minnows survive 4 more than 2 days,were gonna put gravel or small rocks on the bottom and buy some water bulbs which when they sprout,the are oxygenating plants.then ill catch some rock bass(2 or 3) andput em in the pond,and when early oct. comes around,ill catch da rock bass in da pond and put em back in da lake where i caught em(pond isnt deep enough 2 overwinter fish).we are also planning 2 put a creek in our backyard,and i want 2 make it as natural as possible(little rapids and a little pool,be4 the water goes in da pond)and maybe put a rock bass in da creek(gotta watch out 4 racoons though)
