I think we have all caught all kinds of fish when fishing for gills I think that's part of it a frind of mine was gill fishing a few weeks ago with me and he caught a 8 1/2 pound channel catfish.now go figure that one out.

Last winter while ice fishing for crappie I caught two nice 24" catfish. A few weeks ago I was fishing for crappie using a $1.00 Johnson Beetle Spin. I was very suprised when a Muskie hit my lure so close to the dock I was fishing from. I had him for all of 4 seconds before he snapped my 4# test line. Talk about an adrenaline rush!!
