    I have gone fishing a few times and can't catch anything. Should I keep trying or pack up my gear till June. I live in central PA and do not have a boat.

    you should be just coming up on the best shore fishing to be had. are you fishing lake or river? you need to find were the fish are and hope your able to be on that peace of land.

    the crappie and gills are just coming into the shallows in my area here in soutwest mi..

    what part of Central Pa?? North or South?? I live in N. Central Pa near Williamsport I'm just headin out to Rose Valley I'll see how there biting here.

    The reason our game is called fishing is that there are no guarantees! If there were it would be catching. Stay with it, keep an open mind and don't let a lack of success deter you. I went out today with 2 freinds, tried a new technique and got smoked by my buds. You don't learn without experimenting. Tom. BTW, the 3 of us boated 13 perch between 10 and 14+ inches, ate some for dinner, mighty tasty!
