is the spawn over? i wouldn't think so. but i went over to reelfoot lake and caught some pretty nice males, but every female i caught was bone dry of eggs we just had some pretty bad weather down here and so i did not get out to fish for about 1 week. am i right? could the crappie spawn mostly in about 1 week?

I wouldn't think that the spawn could finish that quickly, it usually takes at least 2 weeks around here. I'm about 400 miles north of Reelfoot and the spawn hasn't started here yet, but it should be soon. Tom

Here in southwest NE the weather has not been all that good but I think the spawn is over here.  All the females I have caught have not appeared to have eggs but the males are still colored nicely.
