Actually...the tallest man verified by Guinness Book of Records was 8' 11" tall....

http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com...t_man.aspx

ANd there's been several OVER 8 feet tall...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tall_men

I'd place a bet on a 70" 'ski being out there anytime.

I BELIEVE IN 6 FT MUSKIES. I HAVE SEEN SOME MONSTERS UP IN THAT AREA. I HAVE A CABIN IN MINONG ABOUT 20 MINUTES FROM HAYWARD. I HAVE BEEN FISHING UP THERE SINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO CAST AND I HAVE SEEN SOME BIG MUSKIES. I DON'T THINK ANYONE KNOWS HOW BIG A MUSKY CAN GET. THE REASON YOU DON'T SEE A DEAD 70" FISH IS BECAUSE BY THE TIME IT'S 50" ITS ON SOMEBODIES WALL. THERE ARE STORIES OF THE DNR CATCHING 6 FOOT FISH AND I BELIEVE IT

Just wait until someone posts the story about the guy who claims to have caught a 56 inch northern. He claims it swallowed a 36 inch northern, He was trying to land. The pike is claimed to weigh 56 pounds. I guess, I should have been using the pike I used to eat, for bait instead. I have the story, but do not remember how to post the pictures. But someone out there, will get it done.

Here is one just an inch shy of 40", and once while on Lake of the Woods we had a muskie grab a 31" walleye in the middle and bite it completely around it left a swirl like a 40 horse outboard.

I have 3 pics from the email that has been going around for the last 3-4 years...the pike is huge Eeker<!--graemlin::eek:-->

But at the same time....the various stories have the fish being caught in Canada, US OR Europe Roll Eyes<!--graemlin::rolleyes:-->

I did a search a couple of weeks ago about it...and found on one website that the fish had been caught in the Netherlands about 4 years ago Red Face<!--graemlin::o-->

It was STILL BIG by any means Wink<!--graemlin:;)-->
