I caught my first muskie over 50 inches, 52 to be exact. On 9-20-05 this brute was in 4 foot of water right in amongst emergent reeds. I had to measure her 4 times before I released her just to make sure that my eyes weren't deceiving me and then I forgot to get her girth measurement before I released her. The best thing about the whole experience was she swam away perfectly. I wish I could've gotten a better picture but I was by myself and that's the best I could do without hurting the fish. All I can say is that it was AWESOME!!!! (check my post on page 2 of this thread for some more on this particular fish)
