Any tips on how to catch these guys? i just recently found a nice fishing spot and its got tons of panfish and some nice sized pickerel as well. I tried using crankbaits, both diving and surface, but the pickerel either didnt care or got scared by their movement. Not sure what else to use to coax em into biting. Also, is it true that around this time toothy critters are not as apt to bite artificials because they are molting teeth?
