are these deep water er shallow water resevoirs?
lots of wood cover, weed cover or is it sand and gravel?
what type of bait fish are in these body's of water?
are these body's of water giving up alot of fish or just a few? are they huge, small or average?
what sate are ya fishing in? is it known fer it's mushie or are they just experments from the state fisheries?

they seem to be deep water in some spots 30 to 40 ft, alot of weed cover,  not exactly sure what type of bait fish are in there, i know there is perch, bass , bluegills, im fishing in nj, the res from what ive heard giving up some large fish 40 to 55 inches ive been told.  i believe they catch alot of the there too, thank u

i want to start this post by saying that what info i'm giving is what i've read not 1st hand experience.

early morning and evennings i would work the weed tops in the 12 to 20ft range--outside weed edges and in to around the 12ft mark. if ya can try some nite time fishing--after dark or a couple hrs before daylite. fishing the weeds where deep water comes in close to them is the best spot to start.

work the deep holes and sharp dropoffs--look for humps in the deep water, muskies love to stay near them. also in the deep water --if ya use electronics--look fer clouds of bait fish. such as suckers cisco's and such. muskies will be around them someplace. most of the time they are under or just off to the side a bit deeper than the bait fish is. also remember a muskie can and will eat a fish half their size.

as fer baits i'm not much help but there are many good baits out there, such as in-line spinners from mepps and a few others--if ya look throu the old threads in this section you should find some good help on lures to use. i know of a couple of people that have made some really good postings just on this subject.
also large stick baits work great, such as mag. rapala's, big rebels and big crank baits such as bagleys bang-o.

i know this only is a start fer ya but still good luck and let us know how ya do.
