Just got two new d-riggers at a great buy this week. We plan to go stiper fishing alot at lake Texoma. The quick release clip has a short cable with no swivel on it. Question one, Do you clip your bait line close to the release or do you cast out so many feet out then clip on to the quick release? Question two, Do you need a swivel on the quick release cable to prevent line twist? We can use any pointers on trolling speeds, or hook-up, crank baits with or without lips,ball weight sizes (4,6,8,10 lbs.) just about any thing usefull. Thanks
