It's supposed to be "the transisition zone between warm & cold water" The Lowrance sonar tutorial shows a sonar screen with one on it.

Has anyone ever seen this? What was the sensitivity set at?

I was on Lake Michigan last week-end over 180 feet of water & didn't see this on the sonar.

I was on another boat that had a temp probe on a downrigger. The temp was 66 degrees on the surface & 48 degrees at 60 feet in 120 feet of water. There was no indication of a thermocline on the sonar.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Thanks
