The state of NJ just started stocking landlocked salmon in two deep water lakes. One of which I fish quite often from a canoe. The stock was a gift from Mass fish and game. My question is how long before we will see any fish of notable size? they were in the 8-12 inch range when stocked in May 2006. and how does one fish for them? Drift live bait at depth of 30 feet or more? By the way, the two lakes are Wawayanda, and Areoflex, both lakes are over 90 feet deep. Wawayanda is where we would like to hold a meet.
