The family just got back from an Alaskan cruise.  My oldest and I had the opportunity to do a little salmon fishing.  Limited out on pinks.  Man was that ever fun.  Here are some pics.

Good looking fish. The weather looks like typical Ketchikan. I have a buddy who owns a saltwater lodge in Thorne bay on Prince of Whales island, about 1/2 hour north. It's a great place with lots of fish. You just wet my appetite to get back up there. Thanks for the pics. Terry

Thanks Blind Dog.  It is truly God's country up there.  Pictures just cant do it justice.  We were in Juneau and Skagway as well and the weather was great.  Can't wait to go back.

SSHusker:  Durn Buddy, sure wish ya woulda taken the time to come over to Prince Of Wales!!

The past 2 Bi-Monthly reports showed that our Coho Salmon catch has by far excedeed the 5 year average!  Not only that, but they were larger fish!  Average of 14 lbs! A few reaching 18 lbs,

That fish that you are holding is tagged! Send me the head and I will send ya the info as to were it came from!  Look at your right thumb! No adipose on the fish!  Not to fret! Not all tagged fish are hatchery fish! We tag millions of smot in the streams---all wild fish!
