I've been trying to get a walleye for 10 years. For 10 years I have consistantly failed to catch even a single one. Today I tried again with the usual results. Heres the deal.
It's 40 degrees, cloudy with clear water and only light breezes on the Resavoir, under a bridge that passes over the water. The bridge only had one in water support and it's pretty far out there. Well beyond casting distance and I'm on the shore. I'm not sure of the deapth of the water but I know it drops off FAST. A foot or more of deapth per foot from shore. I used a "walleye wonder" #3 with a Burkley Gulp nightcrawler wakey riged on the worm harness. I tried every diffrent presentation I could think of but with no luck. So here it is...
I am the single worst walleye fisherman in the world. I don't know how to get one on the line. I need help.
