As an angler, I have spent many hours fishing many types of fish with different techniques.  I have just recently purchased a boat and am preparing for this spring in trolling for walleye.  I fish the East half of the lake off of East 72nd in cleveland.  I have been trolling only 2 times and have not completely learned all that there is to do to be successful.  What tips and techniques can other experienced anglers share with me?

If you go to the "member tips" forum and scroll dowm to the "trolling basics" topic, you'll find some good info.. as well as my three part article on trolling. I also fish the eastern basin for walleye.. although further east than you, but I'm sure that most of the same tactics would apply! Any questions.. feel free to ask away! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

Hey sluggo, where do you find the "member tips"?  I can't find them anymore since the site makeover.
I have to search hard for the test products request form too.
    Thanks.

Frogman.. From the main "Member Forum" page just scroll down to the "member to member" catagory. "Member Tips" is listed below that. I totally agree that it was much easier on the "old" board. I considered abandoning this place, but it's not the good people on this board who caused the problems.. so that wouldn't accomplish anything. I've decided to just grin and bear it!
