    I like fishing lake erie for those really spring wallyees. My question is when is the right water temp. for them to start there spring spawn.?

    I like the water temperature to be about 100*f. It's the perfect Temperature for spawning, especially if the water jets are on.

    Now I think the walleyes prefer it to be about 55*f. They're cold blooded you know.

    BUZZSAW5675,  I live in newport, when the botom reachs 42, they are in the detroit river spawning, when they come out, stay by the banana dike, the girles swim by, and the boys will hit a hotN tot, allways!!!! (try a mepps minow if you dident get one yet) ,
