Hi, fellow fishermen. First time on this part of my life and looking for some answers. Has anyone ever fished Old Hickory? Where did you stay? How was the fishin'? How were the prices? World record walleye came from here and I would like to try it before my time is up. Thanks, JB.

There are very few walleye left in Old Hickory. Siltation has destroyed the spawning habitat and the state no longer stocks them. The sauger fishing is good Dec- Mar below the dam. I live 5 minutes from the lake and the dam.

World record from Old Hickory? My info shows the North American record at 22lb11oz out of Greer's Ferry Lk. in Arkansas. Tom
