Is there anyplace to get accurate information about the proper procedure for fizzing walleye.  Tournament fish must be kept in a livewell until weigh in.

Also, a treatment for livewell water would be appreciated.

that should help you, but  take a look at the 3rd paragraph on page 8. i my self am against fizzing walleye. that being said i would look into the tourney rules a lot of them are against fizzing and actually don't deduct points for dead fish as long as you made an attempt to keep them alive.

bennet is right about most tournaments dont deduct points as long as you try, I am however for fizzing I have looked at all the info I just know what I see myself when I do it and my survival rate is a lot higher when I fizz then when I do not. But check the tournament rules for sure some tourneys are also against fizzing.
I am watching your 6 you watching mine? Its easier to Judge then be Judged, Its better to be Judged and Learn from it. Holdrege, Nebraska

    Thanks for the help,

All of the tourey's we have found here in the northwest, say they penalize.  Most recently,  pulling from 40 ft of water, a fish still had gill movement but did not right itself after 3 hours. (Thought we had lost it / still have questions of survival)
