about 2 months ago i pointed out to the store manager were i work that we have some thieves in the area. i work at a walmart. these thieves are stealing rapala's and of coarse at the time i pointed it out they [management] acted like i didn't know anything.

i worked on a thursday evenning about 2 months ago and i did my normal work for the nite. when i left on thursday everything looked ok, nothing out of place or anything like that. the next day that i had to work was on sunday morning and i notice right away when i got to my department that the area that all the rapala lures are in was totally bare, not a single lure on the shelf. i reported this to management to see if we had a big buy on this lures or what. it take them a month to relize what i was talking about and to follow up on it. sure enough they were all stolen.

also, the last day that i work, which was friday nite, the co-manager of my store came up to me and said that we need to keep an eye open because somebody has been stealing rapala's from the area stores. he told me that this was in the company;s bullitin news that comes across everyday in the in store e-mails, news letter. then he goes on about how we where one of the first stores to be hit.

Sounds like a problem for the lost prevention people at WalMart. Thats what they have the security cameras for. They also can security strip each lure and thats what the gates are for.

    .

I am also sure WalMart appreciates their employees discussing such matters with the world. It makes their security problems easier to fix... or maybe not!
