    Alright I am new to this whole carp fishing thing so can I get some ideas on bait to use to catch some grass carp out of a pond.

    It depends on what they will hit , I use wheates ground up with vanilla and the carp love it. Then cornmeal with anise in another  ha ha try both.

    if you use the cornmeal make sure you use the same amounts 1 cup water boiled to 1 cup of cornmeal making sure you pound out the air.just tap the measuring cup on a towel them add more cornmeal

    Ok I know when it comes to catching carp and cats a lot of people come up with all these odd and inventive baits and more power to you because sometimes they work for theat certain individual. Here where we live in the summer all we do to catch carp is use a 1/0 baitholder hook and put on three nighhtcrawlers and let it sit. Always works for us around here. We catch 10-15 pounders consistantly this way.
