Hi all, I picked up a Watercraft Ultimate 12 kayak and had a motor kit put on it

    by Bassyaks.

It has a 30# thrust Min Kota hands free steering, with a digital Maximizer

    controls, for longer battery hours.

This boat is truley the Ultimate fishing machine.

I took it out for my first trip.

Was a on and off windy day, but the best part was holding postion with my back to the wind, I had it in reverse real slow, and held steady while I fished each spot.

Got my reg today, and its gonna be a great fishing season.

Well here is an update on my Yak.

Having health issues that gave me great problems in my yak.

These yaks are awesome, but my back and legs did not allow me

to fish a full day, and when I stayed out to long, the pain became unbearabul

in my lower back and legs.

Decided to add a motor setup to my wavewalk catamaran kayak.

I don't know why I just didn't do this in the first place.

    I've had my wavewalk kayak since 2006. I didn't

realise till after I brought my Ultimate 12, that I just could have

done this with my WW yak. Live and learn.

I have no back, leg problems in this yak.

You can walk in and out, never get your feet wet even when launching.

Stand and paddle, stand and fish, Life is good in my WW, I can fish

all day with no more problems.
