If you have one in your area, sometimes Sam's or Costco  has them (seasonally).  I have even seen them in Wal-Mart ('yaks tht is).

I have a Heritage Angler 12' and I love it. Only $399 and 40lbs. Its light enough to carry anywhere has to rod holders and strong and stable enough to hold a 260lb with gear.

I have an Old Town Otter; it's pretty lightweight and setup for 1 person.  I rigged it myself with a length of bungee cord and waterproofed the eyelets.  I also installed a rodholder, anchor system, and a paddle holder.  It has a built in cupholder which works equally well to hold a can of worms.  I can fit it through the back window of my Jeep Wrangler.

I live in WV and have taken it river fishing to the Shenendoah and Potomac rivers.

I paid $299.99 for it at Cabela's a few years back (ok like 8 years) but it has served me well to this day.

If anyone is interested in this little yak, I am looking to sell it as I now have two regular boats.  You will need to pick it up, cost is $100.00 including paddle and anchor.  Feel free to email me at amuddyjeep@gmail.com if you are interested.
