Has anyone here tried any of the sea egale products? It has 2 inflatable pieces under it and swivel seats.I'm looking at it,but wondering if I should try it or not and if anyone else has.You can go to www.seageagle.com to view them.I know they're pretty pricey for inflatables.

Oh,would you know of a model they got? They have different models and I was thinking about the 440c,but it looks pricy,of course.I thought of a pedal boat versus that.Just wondering how many purchased the sea eagle and if they liked it or not.I've seen a pedal boat cheaper and it has a higher weight limit, also includes a trolling motor. That's what I call a deal.I don't think I would purchase the sea eagle, not at the price they want, but I was just curious how many here have it and what they thought of it.

Sea Eagle has a pretty much no questions asked 30 day return policy.  Pick one, see if you like it.  For the same price (or less) you can buy a nice recreational sit on top kayak that's very stable and many are set up pretty well for fishing.  I have a small 4-door sedan and I have cartoped my 12 foot Hobie Outback Mirage (the pedal drive).  I love my pedal drive by the way, it's fantastic.

I purchased one of Sea Eagle's small boats (not the yak) set up with the floor and motor mount.  I was really impressed with the quality and felt safe mucking around the little lake I used it at.  I had difficulty with it because of the size of the air chambers made it hard to get in and out without geting dunked.  I wound up returning it because it was just to big and heavy to handle very easily.  Didn't have any problems with Sea Eagle when I decided to return it, got a full refund with no problem.

I don't plan to purchase sea eagle. It's too pricy if you ask me.The model I was looking at was their highest one that has more room and was about $2000 or a little less.I'm just wondering how many here have tried it and like it.It may be more of a hassle than sea eagle, but I prefer the pedal boats with canopies if you've seen those. They look real nice and they include a trolling motor with your purchase of one of those.I'd prefer a pedal boat over sea eagle anyday. It may take hauling the thing, but once you get it to the lake you feel better to be relaxed with the pedal boat and you have the canopy for the sun protection.I don't know about you,but I hate the sun beating down on me.That's what causes skin cancer,so I would like the pedal boat over sea eagle.More work, but more fun and relaxing with the pedal boat.

I got the Sea Eagle 9' motor mount boat a few years ago and I LOVE it.  I have a camper and only one SUV, so I can throw the boat in the camper and take it with me.  With a johnboat I'd have no way to tow it and the camper.  I've never had a problem with the Sea Eagle.  Takes about 15 minutes to put it together and you can leave it inflated with no problems, so I set it up when I get to camp and just carry it to the water whenever I want to go out.

Yes,that's the only thing, but the highest model is pricy. It just depends on the model you're seeking!I would rather haul one to put in the water than to inflate and deflate one.I guess if I couldn't haul one I'd use whatever I had to use.Plus I don't know if you heard of it alot of the inflatables tell you to dry them off real good to prevent mold!A regualar non inflatable don't say that,at least the ones I've seen.
