    Hey NAFC Kayak Anglers:

I've seen some great ideas for rigging your kayaks for fishing in a number of these topics--and have sent PMs to a few of you. But I'd like to open it up to the floor again; I'd like to hear from you regarding modifications and upgrades you've made to make your fishing more efficient, fun etc. Rod holders, anchor systems, sonar, for sure--but also anything you've done specifically to make your personal angling experience more productive and enjoyable.

Post here, if you like, but don't hesitate to send me a PM. I look forward to hearing from you all.

here's my kayak. I iinstalled flushmount rod holders. I've also utilized bungees to anchor most everything.

My wife bought a Liquidlogic 10ft Manta Ray yak (non-fishing version, before liqlog sold the fishing yak line to Native Watercraft) a couple of years ago and she never used it. I started using it for fishing this year and added a make shift anchor trolly and 3 Scotty/Cabela's flushmount rod holders. Works great for me.

First time looking at this forum. I have an Ascend 10, and completely rigged it myself. Did the usual but on thing I discovered was placing velcro strips on the floor and wall area, and the other half on the back of my small tackle boxes so they will stay in place and easy to reach. I would post pictures as soon as I find out how to load them here. I am in Stockton CA. area.

Try NCKA.ORG for some great kayak fishing info. Rigging, fishing, you name it. I've got some pics of my SOT and SIK rigged. PM email to me and I'll send pics. I'll be gone till Monday though.

Same problem, except that I would like to find out where I can get a rod holder that Could be attached to my cpbra tandem yak temporarily without screwing it in, or some sort of mount that I could make. Any suggestions where/how to find/make a rod holder/rod holder mount??
