I've had 2 digital scales the first a Berkley lip gripper lasted about one year the other a Rapala lasted about one year. Has anyone had good luck with any digital scales?  I weighed alot of fish just to see and to improve my estimating weights. So if you have a digital scale I would be interested in how it works for you and what you are using?

I got tired of buying them only to have them not hold up to a saltwater environment.  I had the Rapala and Berkley ones (not the lip-grippers, just the digital scales with the j-hook,  the batteries were always dead when I needed it and rusted up.   So I bit the bullet and got an authentic 'Boga Grip'.

It is the model 130, weighing up to 30 Lbs in 1/2 Lb increments.  They go for $119, but I got it from ebay for $99.   They can be sent in and get IGFA certified if you want to be that spot on.

I also have had poor luck with the digital scales I have had. The worst one lasted 2 days, the best 1 season. I'm going to have to check out the Boga, and if it has any kind of warranty, I'll spend the money. I have a BPS lip grip scale(spring) but it doesn't have any definition under 10# or so. It is helpful in handling toothy fish, but the scale is about worthless to me. Tom
