I must not be paying enough attention. I remember that as a pre-teen in the early 60's (remember Camelot and the Cuban missle crisis?) I wanted a Mitchell 308 so bad I could taste it. I think a 308 at that time was the ungodly price of about $25. A 12 yr old at that time might as well wish for sex with Bridgit Bardot. (If you have to ask, you won't understand) Anyone else out there remember? Tom

My neighbors have a garage sell twice a year and they sell fishing equiptment usually at one of the two garage sells. I have purchased  multiple $50-$75 rods for $5. These rods are barely used, and a couple were never used. They just decided to get rid of them

Not easy to find older Mitchells unused like that anymore...ESPECIALLY for that price. I've seen hundreds of beat up ones at yard sales over the last 15 years for $20 or more

    HECK of a nice find.
