Ed: My Lk Mich partner has a contact for a place that specialises in downrigger parts and service. If you have a problem, email me or PM and I will get the contact info for you. My bud is out of town today or I would have called him first. Tom

Thanks RT , yep I know they stopped making it and mine broke last fall. I have four and only use three. I took one out of the one I was not using ( motor faster in two of the 4) and got thru the season. I went out to where I've got parts before and he's out of the Cannon line. Then went to fish 307 and placed a order. I thought I had two mag 10's and two Mag 10a's because of the motor speed and two not being marked 10A. So I ened up with 4 motor housing for mag 10's that I don't have but am hanging on to them in case I have to change over. Any way I not sure about that site at the top it has "2002" so I just sent them a e-mail....................let you know how I make out...........

    Pegsguy you have a PM.

Thanks Frank , 307 and Capt. Gary's is where I have delt in the past. Capt. Gary's spotted carring parts and 307 list it as obsolete. So much for those folks that bought them with a life time warrity!!! (sp).

I called the closest repair shop yesterday ( Screwie Louie's) and he MAY be able to get the parts , I also ordered two of the faster motors that are also not made any more. So he's going to call me when he has them in his hand and I'll take all of my riggers up for him to repair and referbish. Dave & Nancy have there up there now but the gut that works on them is layed up so it may be some time before I can get mine done..............Tom I still would like your contact just in case this fall thru.

    Thanks guys.

    Sorry to hear this Ed
I hope this doesn't mean your have caught a case of Pete's luck. (only luck you have is bad luck) Or maybe Pete passed it on to you.
If you had a life time guarantee I'd ask cannon does that mean your life time or the riggers.
