BUY ONE OF THOSE GAGETS YOU WIFE USES TO PULL THE THREAD THREW THE EYE OF A SEWING NEEDLE. WORKS GREAT..
Fly fishing catalogs have a nifty magnetic threader that you put the fly in and stick your leader through the groove and it slips right through the hook eye. Works good for a size 28 hook. It may work for regular hooks and lures.
